Obituary of Sarah Martin Weber

Formerly of Bridgeville, passed away on 7 June 2022, in Saltillo MS. Beloved daughter of Martin James Joyce and Margaret Catherine (Wilbraham), and sister to Robert Serling Jensen and Edwin James Joyce. Sarah was born in Pittsburgh, on 20 August 1930. She was the wife of Donald Anthony Weber, also of Pittsburgh. Sadly, they have all preceded her in death. Sarah was a graduate of St. Mary of the Mount High School in 1949. She married that same year and started her family in 1951. In 1966 she went to work for Allegheny Airlines as a Reservations Agent, she enjoyed it so much she stayed for mor than 30 years, retiring from USAirways. She enjoyed traveling the world and cruising with family and friends, she was always ready to go on the next adventure. She was a member of the Holy Child Parish in Bridgeville where she was a lay minister. Sarah is survived by her children, Diane (John) Sheely, Orange Beach AL, Donna (Wayne) Mros, Clinton PA, Nancy (John) Pellowski, Nashville TN, Laura (Billy) McDuffie of Saltillo MS, Rodger Weber of Neville Island PA. Grandchildren, Scott, Charity, Crystal, Amanda, Amber, Katelyn, Charles, Joyce, Eric, Kylie. 16 Great Grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews. When Sarah left Pittsburgh she lived with her daughters first in Tennessee, then in Alabama, and most recently in Mississippi. She always considered Pittsburgh to be her home, when asked where she lived, she always responded ‘Pittsburgh, just here visiting my daughter.’ Warchol Funeral Home of Bridgeville will be managing the arrangements, a Mass was said in Saltillo MS, on 8 June 2022. A graveside service is planned for 16 June 2022 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
