Obituary of Patricia L. (Houy) McCartney

Age 83, of South Fayette, formerly of Carnegie, on April 2, 2021. Devoted wife for 64 years of David Jon McCartney, Sr.; loving mother of David Jon McCartney, Jr. (Melinda), Rana Korintus (Daniel), Mark McCartney (Patricia) and Michael McCartney (Patricia); proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister of the late Cleone Massella, the late Eleanor “Penny” Cross, Janet Keener, Walter “Butch” Houy and the late Paul “Buzzy” Houy. Patricia was a lifelong member of Carnegie United Methodist Church, where she served as the church secretary for 25 years. She sang in the choir, made perogies and spent many hours volunteering. Patricia loved to bake special occasion cakes for her family and friends and was loved by all who knew her. Family and friends received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Carnegie United Methodist Church, everyone please meet at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
